Today at approx. 11:50 am, I saw the purple guy over at Convoy Point jetty. He was at the very end of the jetty on the south side. The bird was on top of a rock alongside one Ruddy Turnstone allowing great looks within ten feet. This is practically the same spot Larry saw him in. Since I was on my way to do some work at ENP, I didn't have my camera...oh well, there'll always be another day. The tide was already coming in so, like Larry said, it seems to be the best time to see it.
