I birded Gumbo Limbo trail and Long Pine Key today for about 3-hours. I also made a quick drive past Cutler Wetlands.

It was tough birding as I could hardly see through all of the mosquitoes. They were out in force in a "BIG" way.

I had:

American Redstart
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Pine Warbler
Ovenbird
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prothonotary Warbler
Louisiana Waterthrush

Yellow-throated Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
White-eyed Vireo

Orchard Oriole
Eastern Kingbird
Eastern Bluebird
Eastern Towhee
Northern Bobwhite
Brown-headed Nuthatch

Cutler Wetlands had five Black Terns.

I love the smell of "Deet" in the morning!
