While taking time to study the hundreds of Swallows that have been flying over FIU all day we had a flyover Bobolink! I had been following a Bank Swallow for a bit when the Bobolink crossed right behind the swallow. I focused in on the bird and realized it was a Bobolink! What an unexpected surprise!
Swallows seen were Bank, Barn and Northern Rough-winged Swallow. Looks as if Swifts and Martins have moved out. The Martin roost near our home is empty; it's been days since I see a Martin or Swift.
