I went around mid-morning, after a long hiatus of birding in Miami-Dade's parks, and had the following:
Red-eyed Vireo: 10
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher: 18
Northern Parula: 3
Prairie Warbler: 4
Yellow-throated Warbler: 3
Black-throated Blue Warbler: 1
Black-and-white Warbler: 2
American Redstart: 15
Northern Waterthrush: 1
Also, many Barn Swallows flying overhead and in the ball fields. The highlight was a Cooper's Hawk chasing down a Green Heron (and missed) over the canal in the northern periphery of the park.
It was nice and refreshing to bird woodland habitat again. Some of you guys don't know how good your fall migration really is!
Carlos
