Started at AD Barnes this morning. Most of the park was pretty quiet except for the area near the raised boardwalk. Didn't see the reported Kentucky Warbler. Had many Gnatcatchers, several Red-eyed Vireos, Parulas and Prairie Warblers, a Brown Thrasher and a Hill Myna. The pine area had a few Yellow-throated Warblers. Two very large Amazon parrots flew overhead with loud chuckling calls but was not able to see them well through the canopy.

Afterwards headed to FIU. Struck out with the male Orchard Oriole seen there. The place was crawling with Mockingbirds, at one point had 10 surrounding me in the small hammock area. Aside from the Mockingbirds, also many Cardinals, Jays, a Red-bellied Woodpecker, Gray Kingbird, 2 Gnatcatchers and 1 Ovenbird.
