If you do a search of Common Yellowthroat images, you will see some showing a rufous cap just like this bird. It's not an aberrant feature. Everything about this bird points to Common Yellowthroat; nothing points to either Virginia's or Nashville. I'm willing to bet all my stock in Nortel Corp. on it.
