I had my first American Goldfinch of the season fly over the house about 15 minutes ago. I hope it will find my feeders.
Dump Marsh had two American Wigeon, Mottled Duck, Green-winged Teal, Blue-winged Teal many coots and Pied-billed Grebes. I also had a flock of Cave Swallows (Mexican race, larger and paler then the West Indies race) along with one Northern Rough-winged Swallow and one Barn Swallow.
