This is a great place - I'm from out of town but have been visiting regular for 4 or 5 years at different seasons (as an extra treat now, I can scan for the local bobcat that has taken up residence - saw him/her last year but not yet this year). Last spring, I saw one of the blue heron chicks take its first flight. On Thanksgiving, there were 2 spot breasted orioles there (in the parking lot, actually) which were a first, the ruddy duck was still there and all of the local herons including more little blues than I'd seen in the past. I also saw a yellow-rump warbler (hard to miss from behind).
