No luck. My dad only gave me 30 minutes in the area. Not enough time there at all. I met some other birders looking for the Longspur, but they had no luck. There were hundreds of Blue-winged Teal in the area, aswell as a few Ring-necked Ducks. I was told of a Ruddy Duck there too, but my dad was too impatient to go see it. Better luck next time. Thanks Jill for the directions. The area was a tease. You could tell there were good birds everywhere, but I had too little time to search the area. I found a Bonaparte's Gull and 4 Wilson's Snipe. Atleast I had a Crested Caracara out of it all.
