As I left my building's parking lot this morning, there were six magnificent frigate birds (2 males, 4 females)about two hundred feet right above. I live in North Bay Village and there is a regular roost just south of Pelican Harbor on 79th Street Causeway. I've seen as many as twenty frigates at a time soaring over the little islands, right there with the pelicans, black vultures and the occasional osprey. I don't know if anyone is interested in them but, since I've never seen any postings about them, I thought I'd mention it. They surely make my heart glad.
