The closest I have gotten is as follows:
Take US 27 to Moore Haven. Just west of Moore Haven turn north on Rte 78. Go north 8 miles to Banana Grove Road. Drive west 1 mile to the parking area. Birds pass over, but not in numbers. There are also bobwhite and caracara at this location and lots of wild hawgs.
