Lifted from a recent post on FloridaBirds-L:
From I-95, take the Wickham Rd exit (#191, old #73) and proceed west past the Burger King and Cracker Barrel. Continue west through the traffic circle and go all the way to the end of the road (2.3 miles). The water treatment facility is to your left, turn in here and park at the office. You will need to sign in at the front desk whether you are going to the Click Ponds, or around the wetlands, or both. There is a new brochure, the sign in log book and a bird sighting log at the front counter. The wetlands are farther west from the office.
To get to the Click Ponds, head back out the plant gate. Go about 40' back east on the paved road and turn left onto the wide dirt road that is under the power line. Turn almost immediately left again and then turn right up a slight incline. There are two retention ponds here you can drive around the top of.
Good luck, Alex. Paul Bithorn is there today.
