Finally some migrants at Matheson Hammock

Down the service road, after the curve and the hammock opens up, there was a mixed flock that contained Red-eyed Vireos, Gnatcatchers, a Parula, Redstart, Black-and-white, and Yellow-throated Warbler. Also in the mix was a Great Crested Flycatcher, and a bumper crop of Cardinals. Yay, more cardinals. Just what we need to distract us when looking up in the trees.

The conditions were hot, muggy, and buggy, just what you want before going to work. OK people, time to get out and look. Don't be the one to miss that one good bird. Please, don't do it. It's like going to a concert and being the one guy with the T-shirt of the band that's in concert. Don't be that person!!
