Susan inspired Mossy and me to try to attract buntings. We have a mister/dripper and a bird bath. We also put in salvia, dicliptera and spiderworts when we relandscaped the house last year. A caged, tube feeder and 10 pounds of pure, white millet are now on order from Donna's suggestion. We are going to place the feeder about 3 to 5 feet off the ground in an area surrounded on three sides by native shrubs and a Saint Augustine datil pepper bush.

Thanks dudleydocker and Joel Wilcox as well for the help.

Does anyone have other thoughts or advice on creating a bunting refuge?

What can we do to attract other migrants this fall?
