Common Nighthawks

There were two pairs of Common Nighthawks roosting in the parking lot of the new shopping center in Homestead, located on s.w. 312 st. near the turnpike. They were sitting in parking spaces and the small trees.

I have been getting a pair of Shiny Cowbirds at my feeders as well as about four dozen Bronzed Cowbirds. The Bronzed Cowbirds are resident birds in South Florida now, I can remember when they were rare!!!
