This weekend, I had some time to get out and look for shorebirds. Numbers were limited but I had the following.
Crandon Beach: 2 Piping Plover in addition to several Semipalmated Plovers and Sanderling.
Cutler Wetlands: 3 Pectoral Sandpiper, 2 Least Sandpiper in the swale across the street next to the lake.
Homestead Racetrack area (336th St.): 1 Greater Yellowlegs, 3 Lesser Yellowlegs
