As Bonnies' breezes still gently sway the trees, an explosion of Black & White Warblers appeared in the larger trees on my property. I counted 12 of these warblers with more females (and juveniles?) than males by ratio of about 8:4. Several others were heard, but not observed. They appeared to be searching for food and were very active. Is this an indication of the beginning of the beginning of Fall migration?
