I also saw the bird briefly, about 11:50 this morning. It was on the right side of the clearing, moving closer with 1 or 2 chips at a time, before it darted into Brazilian pepper on right side near where path comes into clearing. The chips and movement were spontaneous--no tapes or pishing induced them.

Lynn Atherton, Susan Epps et al. were there earlier and had the bird briefly about 10:30 or so, on the brush pile on left side of clearing. I'm sure they'll post relevant details.
