An early morning visit to Green Cay (WPB)produced limpkins, coots, moorhens, snowy egrets, many mottled ducks, scores of red-winged blackbirds, and a drop-dead gorgeous flock of roseat spoonbils. The crowds are limited by the heat and humidity and the only reason I went was to check out and calibrate the new 600mm Nikon VR lens recently returned by Nikon following a focus failure.

I would say it works. Quite nicely.
