Following the great Lorenzo Manfredi's advice, I headed to the coast yesterday and although things were relatively slow I was not dissapointed.
Had a couple each of the following:
Jaeger sp.
Brown Booby
Northern Gannet
Merganser sp.

Then the motherload:
4 Surf Scoters, then just as I was about to leave:
70 Surf Scoters!
All birds were moving north, the scoters were only 60 - 100 feet offshore- awesome!
