Hi,
Myself, and 2 other Georgia birders went out yesterday afternoon on a boat from Flamingo and had great looks at around 30+ Flamingos. (Snake Bight trail is closed for repairs). Afterwards I went to the overlook at Eco Pond and just before it was too dark to see, I (and a Ft. Lauderdale birder - didn't catch his name) saw a Lesser Nighthawk fly over the pond.
I talked with a Park biologist today and she did a fly over of the bay last weekend and found roughly 75 flamingos!
