Enjoyed the beach today, surf temp extremely high, so most of the time I stayed in the shadow of a parasol and watched the shorebirds and gulls. An ad. Greater Black-headed Gull was present, and 18 Black Skimmers. Among the numerous Sanderlings, Semipalm. Plovers and Turnstones was one WilsonŽs Plover. This is my last day of a one-year stay in Miami; IŽd like to thank the birders that I have come across here and who have given me many good advise about various birding areas.
