The bird seen last night and this morning definitely was a RED-FOOTED BOOBY. I hope Larry will upload the pictures as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, the bird did NOT make an appearance this afternoon/evening. A group of about 10-12 birders was monitoring the activity at the inlet closely from early afternoon until past sunset. Several NORTHERN GANNET, JAEGER SP. and a likely BROWN BOOBY were seen off shore with scopes.
