On my way into work I stopped at the flooded field/brushpile on the North side of Mowry Dr. (320th) just east of SW 192nd Ave. The duck was swimming and feeding with a Pied-billed Grebe in the central area of the flooded field. I saw the bird from the road, but there is alternate access down the side street along the western boundary of the field. I could not see the duck from the western side at the time, but it was a good spot for close looks at a group of Wilson's Snipe. I got some photos of the bird standing up, but only the upper portions of the legs are visible, no bands could be seen.

cheers

David
