White-necked Raven.

If anybody is heading to Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge it may be worth stopping at El Cubano Groceries 9037 Atlantic Ave. to look at the White-necked Raven that has been present in the area for about 11/2 years. El Cubano Groceries is about a mile east of 441 on the north side of Atlantic Ave. White-necked Ravens are normally found in Africa, from
Ethiopia down to South Africa, who knows how it got to South Florida. I am sure it was imported and held as a pet at one time. The owner of the store feeds this bird, I think morning is a good time to look. In my photos the bird is eating a chicken wing!!!

It is a really cool looking bird, check out that bill.
