Had the day off so I left early this morning for the Big Cypress area and started at Kirby Storter Boardwalk at 7:30. Mosquito levels were pretty low. Had the following:

Anhinga
Turkey Vulture
Red-shouldered Hawk
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
White-eyed Vireo
Purple Martin
Tufted Titmouse
Carolina Wren
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Eastern Bluebird
Northern Mockingbird
N. Parula
Pine Warbler
Boat-tailed Grackle

Afterwards headed to Loop Rd. Went in through Monroe Station and planned to go to Sweetwater Strand but the road got bad 3/4 of the way and headed back to Monroe Station. My Honda Civic is too low. Few mosquitos but many deerflies and horseflies. Didn't get bit though. Had the following:

Great Egret
Turkey Vulture
Black Vulture
Common Ground-Dove
E. Collared Dove (at entrance)
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Pileated Woodpecker
N. Flicker
Great Crested Flycatcher
Loggerhead Shrike
White-eyed Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
American Crow
Carolina Wren
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher
N. Parula
N. Cardinal
Red-winged Blackbird

Mammals seen were Gray Squirrel, WT Deer, Raccoon and a feral cat in the middle of nowhere on Loop Rd.
