The Vermilion Flycatcher was still in the usual spot on Sat. Nov. 1, chasing away Palm Warblers and a Loggerhead Shrike that were getting too close to his turf.
A windy, late-morning trip to Lucky Hammock and the Annex produced the following:
American Kestrel
Northern Harrier
Black and Turkey Vultures
Palm Warbler
Gray Catbird
Common Yellowthroat
Red-eyed Vireo
Yellow-bellied sapsucker (Annex)
Belted Kingfisher (Canal)
Tricolored Heron
Great Blue Heron
