Black-hooded Parakeets occur further south than Sarasota County on the West Coast of Florida and are most probably breeding in Lee County. Likewise for Monk Parakeets. Similarly, Rose-ringed Parakeets have been breeding in Collier County for well over ten years as far as I can determine. . . .
