Hey birders, today I went to Crandon Flats and got 3 and maybe 4 lifers. The Stilt Sandpiper is a maybe but I'm sure of it. I came to the surprise that these birds rarely go to the coast. It had a slightly curved downward beak. It had yellowish long legs. It was not big at all. The size of a dunlin. I recorded on video but that dosen't help much. I hope someone goes to take a look and see If I'm right or wrong.
I also saw pipping plovers, semipalmated plover, Black-bellied plovers, ruddy turnstone, double-crested cormorant, brown pelican, royal tern, and Laughing Gulls. I had some great photos. Great birding!
