I have also recently seen a Common Nighthawk in my neighborhood in Broward (on a nightly basis). He is very active and talkative, but he also sits in the middle of the street nightly for extended periods of time (we live in a complex, so the traffic is light, but he is there at 10PM and 6AM for sure and i get fairly close before he flies away). I believe that I have seen a pair and wonder if they may be nesting in this area. Is there anything I can do to protect the nest or make it less stressful? Just curious...
