Thanks David and Stefan for your help directing me to the hot spots in the 232 wetlands. Yesterday, I couldn't find the avocet and I was too far north to turn back for the flycatcher but Robin and I did see two, possibly three, SNAIL KITES at 332D along with scores of American Coot, Blue-winged Teal, and Greater Yellowlegs. Today, I was back in the region, easily spotting the VERMILION FLYCATCHER at the Greenway Trail/C-111 area and picking up three AMERICAN AVOCETS in "The Wetlands", two in 332D and one in 332B.
Long live the Underground!
Cheers,
Rock Jetts
