Hey Everyone,
With birding relatively slow, I have been observing Dragonflies and Butterflies in the lull. I went to Robinson Preserve in Bradenton today and managed to add some birds to my park list:
Great Crested Flycatcher
Eastern Towhee
Black-crowned Night-Heron
Carolina Wren (4 VERY cooperative buggers. They were scolding me, so I scolded back, then they all came within 5 feet of me!)
Interesting butterflies:
1 possible Common Sootywing
1 Common Buckeye
1 Gulf Fritillary
1 Cloudless Sulphur
Dragonflies:
Carolina Saddlebags are EVERYWHERE
and then my question....what's this guy??
