John Ogden and I live next door to one another and we've had a pair build a nest three years in a row but haven't fledged young yet. We live just outside the north boundary of the City of Homestead. This year is their third attempt and they keep trying to build their nest in the canopy of palms.
Someone mentioned a pair nesting on North Key Largo too.
