Wakodahatchee is open again for your viewing pleasure. Today we saw quite a bit. Actually, it took one hour to advance the first 50 feet. With 200mm/300mm range were about 55 moorhens and fledglings, 4 mottled ducks, five snowy egrets, a black-necked stilt, one lesser yellowleg, gallinules galor, a red-tailed hawk, warblers and blue-grey gnatcatchers enough for all, and the usual suspects of cormorants, anhingas, blue jays, mockingbirds, catbirds, and one great-blue. the lighting is great, the duckweed is all blown to the east shore and new plantings are in.
