Bill Boeringer discovered a Vermilion Flycatcher this morning on the South Dade Greenway Trail. To reach this site, take CR 9336 (the road to Everglades National Park), turning left at the canal before reaching Aerojet Road (the road to Lucky Hammock). Look for the sign for South Dade Greenway Trail. The bird, a young male, was seen perched along the canal, and on a nearby Ficus tree.
