Bill Boeringer discovered a Vermilion Flyatcher this morning on the South Dade Greenway Trail. To reach this area, take CR 9336 (the road leading to Everglades National Park), and turn left at the canal before reaching Aerojet Road (the road to Lucky Hammock). Look for the sign for the South Dade Greenway Trail. The bird, a young male, has been perching along the canal and in a nearby Ficus tree.
