Had a total of 42 species today. Started out this morning at Indian Hammocks park. Not much variety of birds but some excitement. A Red-shouldered Hawk (immature)was being harassed by a Blue Jay, a Mockingbird and a Gray Kingbird at the same time. The hawk let me approach it closely. Also had a Purple Martin, Monk Parakeets, Anhinga soaring overhead, Cardinals fighting their reflection on my car's side mirror and White-crowned Pigeons flying overhead.

Before heading south I stopped by for breakfast in the Kendall area and had Common Myna, Fish Crows successfully getting a Mockingbird chick while the parents attacked in vain. Also someone's escaped pet yellow Cockatiel perched on a wire, Gray Kingbirds, Common Nighthawk, a feral Peafowl, a lone Chimney Swift and some Cave Swallows over the Snapper Creek Canal just east of SW 107 Ave on Sunset Dr.

Dump Marsh and Cutler wetlands had nothing really outstanding but I had the following:

Great Egret
Snowy Egret
Little Blue Heron
Tricolored Heron
Cattle Egret
Green Heron
Glossy Ibis
White Ibis
Domestic Muscovy
Mottled Duck
