I birded for a couple of hours today on Boca Chita Key and for about 1 hour on Elliot Key. Boca Chita Key had quite a few raptors and some passerines.

Sharp-shinned Hawk 1
Coopers Hawk 1
American Kestrel 5
Peregrine Falcon 3
Merlin 2
Northern Harrier 1

American Redstart 1
Palm Warblers 1 or 2 dozen.
Common Yellowthroat 2
Eastern Wood-Pewee 1
Eastern Phoebe 1
Red-bellied Woodpecker 2
Loggerhead Shrike 1
Northern Cardinal 2

Elliott Key had:

Common Yellowthroat 3
Palm Warbler lots.
Black-throated Blue 1
Ovenbird 1
American Redstart 1
Red-eyed Vireo 3
White-eyed Vireo 2
Yellow-billed Cuckoo 1
Painted Bunting 1
Indigo Bunting 4
Northern Mockingbird 2
Red-bellied Woodpecker 2
Red-shouldred Hawk 1
Chipping Sparrow 2
Short-billed Dowitcher 6
Sanderling 2
Semi-palmated Plover 5
Least Sandpiper 2
Black-bellied Plover 1
Ruddy Turnstone 23
Royal Tern 35
American Kestrel 2
Merlin 1

If I had more time to spend I am sure I would have found many other goodies.
