Mangrove Cuckoo at Black Point

A question about the Mangrove Cuckoo at black Point. The photo posted on May 24

shows the distinctive tail of a Mangrove Cuckoo. There is no mask, however, and the bill is rather light. Could this be a young bird? The reason I ask is that if they had already fledged on May 24th, it might be useful to search a bit earlier next year.
