Juvenile Cooper's Hawk

The main attraction I had today was seeing a juvenile Cooper's hawk eating a rat. It was surely mobbed by many blue jays. I also has glad to see an escape cockatiel. But this wasen't an ordinary cockatiel. It was my cockatiel which escaped from my cage a couple years ago. It responded to the call I gave it. I'm happy its surviving in the wild.
Some other birds I saw was the resident American Kestral soaring and calling. Also had 4 species of warblers, two turkey vultures and two merlins. Great birding! And, lets go MARLINS!
