Today at Bill Baggs, feeding with Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, was an Orange-crowned Warbler. The white wing marginal coverts (described by Dunn & Garrett) were prominent. The warbler was next to dirt path perpendicular to paved bike path, near restrooms. In the same area was a Sharp-shinned Hawk.

Usual winter visitors present included: Magnificent Frigatebird, Red-shouldered Hawk (3 immatures seen), Eastern Phoebe, Palm and Prairie Warbler, Gray Catbird and House Wren. Freshwater ponds #1,3 & 4 choked with vegetation but Pied-billed Grebes in #2. For those interested, TONS of butterflies along interior dirt paths.
