Magnolia and Worm-eating were among the 8 warbler species; Red-eyed and White-eyed Vireo; Veery, Swainson's Thrush and Wood Thrush; female Rose-breasted Grosbeak; female Indigo Bunting; Ruby-throated Hummingbird; Cooper's and Short-tailed Hawk (light morph); as well as ~20 Chimney Swifts heading south were highlights of today at Barnes Park. A Blue-gray Gnatcatcher was seen preening for nearly 10 minutes and also resting on a log prior to any calling or feeding. New arrivals daily! Go Marlins!!
