1. Take Turnpike south to Exit.5 (288 St./Biscayne Dr)
2. Turn east (left) on Biscayne Dr. and go under the bridge and past the first light which is a Turnpike exit light, to the second light which is Tallahassee Rd .
3.Go south (right)on Tallahassee Road. The pond is within a mile west of Tallahassee Rd. just north of N. Canal Dr. I think you pass 2 lights but I don't remember. go past the 8th St/ Cambbell Dr. light
4.Go almost to N.Canal Dr. which goes E/W.It will be at the end of a hedgerow of ficus plants.
5 Turn west (right) onto the rough road on the right side (N.side) of the canal.
6. Pass the field. There is the pond.
7. Drive carefully, The dike road tends to be a little narrow and almost old Loop Road quality in places.
Wish I could draw a map here. It'd be so much clearer. saz
