I found a La Sagra's Flycatcher while birding with Steve and Jessie yesterday around 8:30 a.m. The bird was in a small tree next to the bathrooms where it called. It then flew into the large Strangler Fig that is next to the building. It allowed me to get two photos before it flew off to the southwest into the hammock with Gumbo Limbo trail. We did not see or hear it after that. Another lucky birder couple also got to see it before it flew.
