I spoke with Sandy Komito on his recent visit to NJ last week. His wife, who has recently passed always thought Sean Connery should portray him. Some friends thought Dustin Hoffman, but somehow it will be Owen Wilson. I asked Sandy who he thought should play Debbie Shearwater, he thought "some big ex-NFL football player". You'll need to read the book to find out why. It's a nice easy read.
