At the Black Point area there were several Mangrove Cuckoos calling today although none made an appearance. They seemed to be in a healthy distance from the road. As Rock alluded to, people are out there with tapes.
At Cutler Wetlands I was suprised to see a couple straggler ducks: an adult male Blue-winged Teal and adult male American Wigeon. There were also numerous Semipalmated Sandpipers, at and a few White-rumped Sandpipers flying around the back end of the pond.
