Hey birders! Today was a great day of birding for me! I had 6 species of warblers, the resident kestral, Merling( chasing a mourning dove, luckily the dove escaped),Downy Woodpecker, 4 Ruby throated Hummingbirds (2 males and 2 females), SWAINSONS THRUSH (in my backyard), 10 Hill Mynas!, unidentified flycatcher and another mystery bird.
The bird I saw was a macaw. It had the forehead totally red and the rest of the body was greenish blueish. It was the size of a blue-and-gold macaw. Hope somebody knows what bird I saw. Great day! Hope I can see a flycatcher species tommorow. I have no lifers for them. Great birding!
