5/13/10--Bahama Mockingbird, Pinellas County, St. Petersburg, Ft.DeSoto
County Park. Observer: Chris Rasmussen. Directions: From I-275
(south) take exit #17 (Rt.682, look for brown sign to Fort), head west,
then south on Rt. 679, to Fort Desoto Park. (DeLORME p. 90). Bird seen
on privet trail about 100 ft in - large privet on right of trail.
After entering park, turn left (east) at T intersection, park in east
end of first large parking lot past visitors' center and walk toward
water. Privet trail (unsigned) turns to left just before path through
woods. Photos being taken by Ron Smith will be posted later.
