I took the owl to the Everglades Outpost since they are closest to my place. It was a little thin, so they said they would feed it until it gets back "on it's wings" and then will release it. There was one other owl in the box that I could observe, so I checked it early this morning and there were TWO more owls in the box. I don't know if these are the adults or some more young. The young one had some down on it, but not much. It's good to see more owls in the box and they are doing well. I'll be observing the box closely for the next few days in case any others decide to "fly the coop" too early.
