Just returned from birding Rio Grande and High Island. Saw quite a few birds, about 30 lifers. Managed to miss all the tough valley birds except Muscovy Duck ( hope it's not a hybrid but it looks like the real deal ) Talked briefly with Steve Siegal at High Island before heading home. By the way, if anyone out there knows how to see, id, photograph, and video birds at the same time, please write a book. I'll pay handsomely for the first signed copy.
